Which translates roughly to "Put your money where your mouth is or I'm wasting my time here."

Part of a conversation on Saturday evening;

Me: "John, are you still going to be here next season?"
JH: "I will be if they let me sign some new players."
Me: "At least three or four?"
JH: "At least four or five."
