Agreed.

The reason for the frustration and apathy is easily diagnosed. We've been a shit outfit for nearly a century, we became accustomed to being bottom of the septic tank of football and had zero expectation.
Along comes IOR, sweeps us off our feet and we all felt like lottery winners. For Pools, we've had relative sustained success and the zero expectations were kicked into the long grass ...the genie was out of the bottle and he never goes back, we'd tasted the good life and now we wanted more..... then the inevitable happened and we didn't know how to adapt....... but it's not the fans problem, we did our bit, while the club seemed to radiate smug indifference....... seeming to stumble without actually falling.
It appears, the future isn't bright,, just the same old tired faces performing the same old routines. It's neither appealing or inspiring, just more of the same.
