Edited for geographical accuracy.

Its possible you already have a silver polisher playing for you. As well as the joiner, the brickie, the shop assistant, Car salesman and candlestick maker.

You know I'd just love Pools to win some silverware but let's not get over ambitious. The Nothern League title is way out of our sight at the moment.

Darlo will not be back in the Conference for a minimum 6 seasons while they do not have their own ground in my opinion. They really need to look at moving into some premises within their own town boundaries to have solid foundations to build from. If they don't it will just get harder for them to do it

Your crowds will not increase next season. FACT.

Sorry fact of the matter is that, like Pools, 95% of the towns population don't give a shit and your not even based in your own town......whilst playing Sunday League to boot.

Well done. You guys did great. It must have been fantastic knowing you managed to win a league were your budget is 4 times that of 95% of the other clubs.

Its a tremendous achievement.

And with season ticket prices set, and your spokesman talking of a difficult first financial year, you must be relishing visits to Ramsbottom Utd, Cammell Laird and Prescott Cables.

So many local derbies as well.

Fair play to darlow for winning their league. You can only beat what is put in front of you and this season they have done that.

It is still funny that they are getting all excited about it though, as what has been put in front of them this season has been pub teams and students and the biggest problems they've probably had in their own dressing room has been deciding who is sharing a half time tab with who and whether or not they have enough some weeks for all of the players to have one each.

if you know anything about local football you will know that darlo have exceptionally good players for the Northern League.

Infact their players are probably too good for the next league up as well.

Maybe they will meet their match in the Evostick prem, but from what I have been told, they may even be good enough to win that. The big issue for them from this point though is finance and travel.

The problems for them, playing wise, though start at Conference North level. This is a good standard, and they wont excel here with local players only.

Now they could be there in 3 seasons. Will they have a ground by then?

I would like to know how they will fund it, as all of their cash, and more is going on wages.

And at every step they go up, it get less local, and more expensive.
